Hội Hóa học Hà Nội là thành viên của Liên hiệp các Hội Khoa học và Kỹ thuật Hà Nội. Với đặc thù là một tổ chức xã hội nghề nghiệp có phạm vi hoạt động khá rộng, trong nhiệm kỳ qua, mặc dù còn nhiều khó khăn nhưng Hội đã luôn đoàn kết, nỗ lực triển khai có hiệu quả nhiều hoạt động.
Công tác tuyên truyền, phổ biến kiến thức nâng cao nhận thức cộng đồng về vấn đề bảo vệ môi trường, vệ sinh an toàn thực phẩm, góp phần thực hiện chương trình xây dựng nông thôn mới của Thủ đô rất được Hội chú trọng. Là tổ chức có nhiều chuyên gia, có chuyên môn sâu trong các lĩnh vực hoạt động, Hội đã tổ chức nhiều hội thảo khoa học phát huy thế mạnh của Hội. Hoạt động tư vấn, phản biện và giám định xã hội, tham gia đóng góp ý kiến trong các vấn đề phát triển kinh tế – xã hội của Thủ đô rất được quan tâm. Bên cạnh đó, Hội còn tham gia công tác giáo dục, đào tạo, bồi dưỡng kiến thức môn hóa trong các nhà trường.
Trong nhiệm kỳ tới, Hội sẽ tập trung làm tốt công tác phản biện xã hội, công tác tuyên truyền, tập huấn, nâng cao nhận thức cộng đồng về an toàn vệ sinh thực phẩm, bảo vệ môi trường Thủ đô và những vấn đề phát sinh trong cuộc sống hằng ngày của Hà Nội có liên quan đến ngành hóa học; thực hiện, tham gia các đề tài, dự án trong các lĩnh vực chuyên môn như: Xây dựng nông thôn mới, chương trình vật liệu mới, vật liệu xanh… nhằm góp phần vào sự phát triển về khoa học và công nghệ của Thủ đô.
Chúc mừng và đánh giá cao những hoạt động mà Hội Hóa học Hà Nội đã triển khai, bà Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Thanh, Phó Chủ tịch Liên hiệp các Hội Khoa học và Kỹ thuật Hà Nội bày tỏ mong muốn trong thời gian tới, Hội Hóa học Hà Nội sẽ tiếp tục phát huy sáng kiến, đổi mới về nội dung, phương thức hoạt động để có những đóng góp có hiệu quả cho việc phát triển kinh tế – xã hội của Thủ đô cũng như tăng cường phát triển hội viên, đặc biệt là các doanh nghiệp, các trung tâm nghiên cứu khoa học. Bà Ngọc Thanh khẳng định, Liên hiệp các Hội Khoa học và Kỹ thuật Hà Nội sẽ luôn ủng hộ và hỗ trợ các hoạt động của Hội.
Đại hội đã biểu quyết thông qua các báo cáo, Nghị quyết đại hội và bầu Ban Chấp hành khóa VI gồm 38 ủy viên. Giáo sư, Tiến sĩ Thái Hoàng, nguyên Viện trưởng Viện Kỹ thuật nhiệt đới, Viện Hàn lâm khoa học và công nghệ Việt Nam được tín nhiệm bầu làm Chủ tịch Hội Hóa học Hà Nội nhiệm kỳ 2022-2027.
