Sáng 21/12, tại Hà Nội, Hội Hóa học Việt Nam đã tổ chức Đại hội Đại biểu toàn quốc lần thứ VII nhiệm kỳ 2022 – 2027 và bầu Ban chấp hành khóa mới.
Phát biểu khai mạc tại Đại hội, ông Lê Quốc Khánh – Chủ tịch Hội Hóa học Việt Nam cho biết, Đại hội tổng kết lại những kết quả hoạt động của nhiệm kỳ 2017 – 2022, đề ra phương hướng hoạt động của nhiệm kỳ 2022 – 2027 và bầu Ban chấp hành, Ban kiểm tra nhiệm kỳ 2022 – 2027.
Trong nhiệm kỳ qua, Hội Hóa học Việt Nam đã xây dựng tổ chức Hội theo mô hình lựa chọn những thành viên nòng cốt là những người có nhiệt tình, có năng lực. Đây là các cá nhân hoặc đại diện đến từ các tổ chức trong và ngoài nhà nước, các Viện nghiên cứu, các Trường đại học, các doanh nghiệp… Những thành viên đó sẽ tham gia vào Ban chấp hành và vận động các thành viên khác cùng thực hiện công tác của Hội trong những công việc cụ thể có liên quan đến vấn đề bảo vệ môi trường, an toàn vệ sinh thực phẩm, nghiên cứu các đề tài, triển khai các dự án trong nhiều lĩnh vực KHCN khác nhau như Khoa học vật liệu, xử lý nước, xử lý phế thải, hóa học xanh, vật liệu xanh, nhiên liệu sạch… Đồng thời các thành viên sẽ tham gia tư vấn trong công tác giáo dục đào tạo môn Hóa học, tư vấn trong các cuộc bồi dưỡng và thi tài năng trong nước và quốc tế (ITEL ISEF).
Theo ông Đỗ Duy Phi – Phó Chủ tịch Hội Hóa học Việt Nam, kế thừa những thành tựu của nhiệm kỳ VI, trong nhiệm kỳ VII sắp tới Hội sẽ củng cố và phát triển cả về chiều rộng và chiều sâu, vận động kết nạp thêm các hội viên tập thể và cá nhân thuộc mọi thành phần kinh tế. Quan tâm động viên các hội viên trẻ, nhất là các hội viên còn đương nhiệm tham gia nhiều hơn nữa. Bên cạnh đó, Hội kiện toàn cơ cấu tổ chức và nhân sự các đơn vị thành viên và tăng cường mối liên hệ hợp tác với địa phương, doanh nghiệp, đơn vị sản xuất, các viện nghiên cứu và trường học.
Về công tác chuyên môn, Hội luôn chú trọng công tác giáo dục, đào tạo, tuyên truyền, phổ biến kiến thức; Hoạt động tư vấn, phản biện, giám định xã hội và đang xây dựng thực hiện 1 số đề tài nghiên cứu.
Tại Đại hội đã thông qua Điều lệ Hội, Quy chế làm việc, Quy chế bầu cử và bầu ra Ban Chấp hành mới bằng biểu quyết 100% các đại biểu đồng ý 118 đồng chí vào Ban chấp hành mới của Hội Hóa học Việt Nam khóa VII (2022-2027). Ban Thường vụ Hội Hóa học Việt Nam gồm 22 thành viên. Ông Đỗ Duy Phi được bầu làm Chủ tịch Hội Hóa học Việt Nam khóa VII.
Đại Hội khóa VII 2022 – 2027 của Hội Hóa học Việt Nam đã thể hiện tinh thần: Đoàn kết – Đổi mới – Sáng tạo, vì sự nghiệp phát triển bền vững của Thủ đô Hà Nội. Trong nhiệm kỳ mới Hội Hóa học Việt Nam sẽ tiếp tục nâng cao vị thế và phạm vi hoạt động, sẵn sàng đáp ứng các nhiệm vụ, yêu cầu của các cơ quan quản lý Nhà nước, hợp tác chắc chắn với các Hội khoa học kỹ thuật khác, các địa phương cũng như các trường đào tạo, viện nghiên cứu và các doanh nghiệp.
