Dự hội thảo có Tiến sĩ Đỗ Duy Phi – Chủ tịch Hội Hoá học Việt Nam; PGS.TS Cao Cự Giác – Chủ tịch Hội Hoá học Nghệ An; PGS.TS Nguyễn Hoa Du – Phó Chủ tịch Hội đồng trường, Trường Đại học Vinh; PGS.TS Lưu Tiến Hưng – Hiệu trưởng Trường Sư phạm – Trường Đại học Vinh.
Hội thảo quy tụ gần 500 đại biểu là chuyên gia hàng đầu về giảng dạy Khoa học tự nhiên và Hoá học đến từ 22 tỉnh, thành và 10 trường đại học của Hà Nội, Huế, Sài Gòn, Quy Nhơn… Ngoài ra, còn có các tác giả sách giáo khoa mới, giáo viên trực tiếp giảng dạy môn Khoa học tự nhiên và Hoá học của nhiều trường THCS và THPT trên toàn quốc.
Hội thảo Khoa học Quốc gia với chủ đề “Dạy học Khoa học tự nhiên và Hoá học từ lý luận đến thực tiễn” diễn ra trong bối cảnh cả nước chuẩn bị bước vào năm cuối cùng thực hiện Chương trình giáo dục phổ thông 2018.
Những năm qua, với nhiều thuận lợi và khó khăn, việc tổ chức dạy học Hóa học ở các nhà trường đang từng bước được điều chỉnh để bắt nhịp chương trình, nhằm đảm bảo việc dạy và học theo hướng phát triển phẩm chất, năng lực học sinh, tạo chuyển biến về chất lượng dạy và học.
Với mục đích nâng cao chất lượng dạy học Khoa học tự nhiên và Hóa học trong nhà trường, hội thảo năm nay đã nhận được hàng chục bài viết của các nhà khoa học đến từ các trường Đại học Sư phạm Hà Nội, Đại học Giáo dục – Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội, Đại học Thủ đô, Đại học Vinh, Đại học Sư phạm Huế – Đại học Huế, Đại học Sài Gòn, Đại học Sư phạm TP Hồ Chí Minh, Viện Khoa học giáo dục và đặc biệt có nhiều bài viết từ các giáo viên THPT, THCS và các trường chuyên của nhiều tỉnh, thành trên cả nước.
Trong đó, tập trung vào các nội dung gồm trao đổi một số vấn đề về sách giáo khoa Khoa học tự nhiên và sách giáo khoa Hoá học; giới thiệu một số nghiên cứu về chiến lược dạy học môn Khoa học tự nhiên và môn Hoá học…
Các bài tham luận cũng tập trung chia sẻ những kinh nghiệm thực tiễn trong quá trình vận dụng các phương pháp và kỹ thuật dạy học môn Khoa học tự nhiên và môn Hoá học nhằm phát triển phẩm chất và năng lực học sinh, kiểm tra đánh giá kết quả học tập của học sinh theo định hướng phát triển phẩm chất và năng lực.
Phát biểu tại hội thảo, Tiến sĩ Đỗ Duy Phi – Chủ tịch Hội Hóa học Việt Nam đánh giá cao sự nỗ lực của Hội Hoá học Nghệ An trong công tác chuẩn bị và triển khai hội thảo. Qua 3 năm triển khai với nhiều chủ đề khác nhau, Hội thảo Khoa học Quốc gia đã quy tụ được nhiều chuyên gia hàng đầu về Hoá học của cả nước và nhiều nhà giáo tâm huyết với môn Hoá học trong các nhà trường.
Với nhiều cách tiếp cận khác nhau, những chia sẻ tại hội thảo sẽ là những kinh nghiệm quý giá cho các giáo viên và các nhà trường. Trên cơ sở đó, sẽ tháo gỡ những khó khăn và từng bước góp phần nâng cao hiệu quả của việc tổ chức dạy học môn Hoá học, giúp học sinh dần hình thành và phát triển năng lực tìm hiểu, có thể vận dụng kiến thức tốt hơn trong quá trình phát triển năng lực giải quyết vấn đề thực tiễn.
Tại hội thảo lần này, các đại biểu cũng được giao lưu và trao đổi trực tiếp với Tổng Chủ biên, Chủ biên và các tác giả sách giáo khoa Khoa học tự nhiên và sách giáo khoa Hoá học.
Trong khuôn khổ chương trình, trong ngày hôm qua (30/7), Hội Hoá học Nghệ An cũng đã tổ chức Kỳ thi Chung kết Olympic Hoá học 19 – 5 lần thứ ba. Việc tổ chức Kỳ thi Olympic Hóa học 19 – 5 là một trong những hoạt động ý nghĩa của Hội nhằm cổ vũ phong trào dạy và học Hóa học ở các trường THCS và THPT.
Qua đó, nhằm phát hiện và tôn vinh những học sinh có năng khiếu về Hoá học, tạo nguồn bồi dưỡng học sinh Hoá học cho các trường phổ thông.
Năm nay, hội thi quy tụ hơn 1.500 thí sinh trên cả nước dự thi. Qua vòng sơ loại (thi trực tuyến) và vòng chung kết (thi trực tiếp), Ban tổ chức đã trao giải cho 42 thí sinh xuất sắc là các học sinh từ lớp 7 đến lớp 12 đến từ thành phố Hà Nội, thành phố Vũng Tàu, tỉnh Vĩnh Phúc, Quảng Trị, Trà Vinh và tỉnh Nghệ An, trong đó có 2 giải Nhất, 7 giải Nhì, 12 giải Ba, 11 giải Tư và 10 giải Triển vọng.
