Vừa qua, Viện Hóa học Công nghiệp Việt Nam và Công ty Cổ phần cồn và tinh bột Phú Mỹ đã phối hợp thực hiện thành công việc sản xuất 2 loại tá dược từ nguồn tinh bột sắn: Amidon TS và tinh bột natri glycolat. Sản phẩm tá dược đạt tiêu chuẩn dược điển với giá thành thấp, đáp ứng nhu cầu về tá dược của thị trường nội địa, góp phần tiết kiệm ngoại tệ cho nền kinh tế.
Cả 2 sản phẩm trên đã được kiểm nghiệm tại Viện Kiểm nghiệm thuốc Trung ương. Các kết quả phân tích cho thấy, sản phẩm Amidon TS và tinh bột natri glycolat đạt được tất cả các chỉ tiêu theo Dược điển Việt Nam 4 và Dược điển châu Âu. Các chỉ tiêu cơ lý như độ trắng, độ trương nở, độ trơn chảy đạt tương đương, thậm chí vượt trội so với các sản phẩm nhập ngoại. Ngoài ra, kết quả thử nghiệm bào chế như độ chịu nén, độ rã, độ mài mòn… cũng cho thấy, sản phẩm Amidon TS và tinh bột natri glycolat đáp ứng tất cả các yêu cầu của các nhà bào chế.
