HỘI THI OLYMPIC HÓA HỌC SINH VIÊN TOÀN QUỐC 2018
Olympic Hóa học sinh viên toàn quốc lần thứ 10 được tổ chức từ ngày 13 đến ngày 18 tháng 4 năm 2018 tại trường Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội. Tham gia Hội thi có 41 trường Đại học và Cao đẳng toàn quốc với 266 sinh viên dự thi.
Hội thi này có số trường tham gia đông nhất. Nhiều trường Đại học và Học viện lần đầu tham gia như trường Đại học Thủy lợi, Đại học Khánh Hòa, Đại học Giao thông vận tải, Đại học Phòng chữa cháy, Học viện Phòng không không quân. Điều này chứng tỏ Hội thi có sức hút lớn với các sinh viên nghành Hóa học trong cả nước.
Sau năm ngày tranh tài, chiều 17 tháng 04 năm 2018, Ban tổ chức Hội thi đã tổ chức trang trọng lễ bế mạc. Trong lễ bế mạc, Ban tổ chức đã công bố kết quả cuộc thi. Ba sinh viên các trường Đại học Bách khoa – Đại học quốc gia thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Đại học Dược Hà Nội và
Học viên Kỹ thuật quân sự được đề nghị Bộ Gíao dục & Đào tạo cấp bằng khen và phần thưởng. Ba mươi sinh viên của ba bảng A, B, C và tập thể Viện Kỹ thuật Hóa học trường Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội đã được nhận bằng khen của Liên hiệp các Hội Khoa học & Kỹ thuật Việt Nam. Hội Hóa học Việt Nam cũng tặng bằng khen và phần thưởng cho 48 sinh viên đạt giải nhất, 70 sinh viên đạt giải nhì và 105 đạt giải ba.

Để có được kết quả tốt đẹp trên, Ban tổ chức Hội thi đã nhận được sự quan tâm và chỉ đạo của Ban giám hiệu trường Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội, Hội Hóa học Việt Nam và sự bảo trợ của Liên hiệp các hội Khoa học & Kỹ thuật Việt Nam cũng như sự giúp đỡ về tinh thần, vật chất của các cơ quan đơn vị, các công ty và doanh nghiệp trong và ngoài nước. Ban tổ chức Hội thi xin trân trọng cảm ơn Hội thi lần thứ XI (04/2020) sẽ được tổ chức tại trường Đại học Khoa học Tự nhiên –Đại học quốc gia thành phố Hồ Chí Minh.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell
and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
